Finasteride / Minoxidil — FutureSelf RX

A closer look

Two approaches. One hair-care plan.

Hair changes take patience. This combination brings two different approaches to pattern hair loss into a plan your clinician can assess over time.

Benefits & care goals
  • Finasteride may help slow pattern hair loss.
  • Minoxidil may support hair growth in suitable patients.
  • Consistent photos help you and your clinician assess change.
How it works

Finasteride reduces conversion of testosterone to DHT, a hormone involved in pattern hair loss. Minoxidil acts on the hair-growth cycle. They have different risks and are not suitable for everyone.

How to use

Follow the oral prescription and pharmacy instructions. Do not add separate finasteride or minoxidil products without review. Discuss pregnancy-related restrictions, sexual side effects, and your heart and blood-pressure history before treatment.

Ingredients & formulation

Listed active ingredients: Finasteride and minoxidil.

The exact strength, inactive ingredients, and preparation depend on your prescription and dispensing pharmacy. Check your pharmacy label and ask about any allergies before use.

Timing & expectations

Hair growth is assessed over months, not days. An early increase in shedding can occur with minoxidil; report new or persistent changes rather than assuming they are harmless. Your clinician may review progress around six months.

Research & testing

Evidence supports individual hair-loss treatments, but formulation and route matter. Oral minoxidil for hair loss is off-label; this compounded combination is not FDA-approved.

FIND YOUR FIT

Who it’s best for.

Perfect if you:

  • Have active shedding and visible thinning
  • Want the most complete oral protocol
  • Tried minoxidil alone with partial results
  • Have family history and want to stay ahead
  • Want one daily routine covering both causes

A licensed provider decides whether treatment is right for you. Your clinician should explain the risks, interactions, and monitoring for the exact formulation and route prescribed. Do not change or combine treatments on your own.

04 / A few things to know

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Does topical mean there are no systemic effects?

No. FDA has warned about systemic and local adverse effects with compounded topical finasteride, as well as transfer to others. Discuss pregnancy-related exposure precautions and all potential risks with your clinician.

Does completing the intake guarantee treatment?

No. A clinician reviews your medical history and determines whether treatment is appropriate. A prescription is not guaranteed.

How is the plan billed?

The 3-month plan is $229 paid upfront, equivalent to $76.33/month. This three-month option is a one-time payment. The monthly option is $59 for your first month, then $99/month until cancelled. The introductory price applies to the first order of this product only. Shipping and taxes, if applicable, are shown at checkout.

What dose will I receive?

Your clinician determines the prescribed dose. Confirm the formulation, concentration, and instructions with the prescribing team and pharmacy; this page does not select a dose.
